Role Description

At OnTheGoSystems, the company behind WPML, powering more than 1.5 million production websites, we’re looking for an experienced content specialist who can lead our content and take ownership of its quality and results.

We use AI every day, and it has changed how content gets written. A decent first draft is now easy to get. What’s still hard is knowing what’s worth publishing, how to make it really good, and how to tell if it worked. That’s the job.

What You’ll Work On

• Decide what we publish and ensure it’s good.
• Edit: improve new and existing content so it’s clear, accurate, and useful to readers.
• AI-assisted writing: use AI tools to create and improve drafts while keeping the bar high.
• Direction: set priorities and choose the content that will bring the most value.
• Results: track how content performs, improve its visibility in Google and AI search (SEO/GEO/AEO), and act on the data.
• Experiments: try new topics and formats, see what works, and do more of it.
• Working with experts: collaborate with our CEO, developers, and product teams to turn technical knowledge into clear, engaging content.

Qualifications

• Years of experience creating and editing high-quality content.
• Strong editorial judgment and writing skills.
• Experience leading a small team of writers and providing useful feedback.
• Focus on quality and impact over quantity of published content.
• Proven responsibility for content results with demonstrable achievements.
• Hands-on experience with SEO and AI-search optimization.
• Proficient use of AI in writing and editing, with an understanding of when personal judgment is crucial.
• Experience with software, SaaS, or other technical content, with the ability to explain complex products simply.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and checking results without detailed instructions.
