Role Description

We're looking for a creative and hands-on Content Creator, Social to produce the everyday content that keeps Resilia's social channels active and engaging. You'll turn established content strategies and creative direction into short-form videos, edits, trends, and posts that reflect the brand's voice, connect with our audience, and drive engagement.

This is a behind-the-camera role focused on shooting, editing, and directing content. You won't be required to appear on screen. You'll report to the Content Director, collaborate closely with the Content Manager on the publishing calendar, and supervise the Social Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation and Production
  • Shoot, edit, and publish short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Create Reels, TikToks, carousels, and Stories tailored to each platform's specifications.
  • Identify relevant trends and adapt them quickly while maintaining Resilia's brand voice.
  • Repurpose footage from brand shoots, agencies, and creators into engaging social content.
• Creative Ideation and Strategy
  • Pitch at least three new content ideas every week during the Monday newsroom, each supported by a strong hook and creative reference.
  • Develop repeatable content formats and series based on established content tracks.
  • Test different creative approaches and use performance insights to refine future content.
  • Identify successful formats and recommend opportunities to scale them.
• Content Quality and Brand Standards
  • Ensure all content aligns with Resilia's brand voice, sound guidelines, and approved claims.
  • Prepare and submit posts for approval through the content calendar within established deadlines.
  • Maintain consistency in quality, messaging, and presentation across all social platforms.
• Team Collaboration and Supervision
  • Supervise and provide direction to the Social Coordinator on content execution and publishing.
  • Work closely with the Content Manager to coordinate content production and scheduling.
  • Support the community team during periods of increased inbox volume.

Qualifications

• Must Have
  • 2–3 years of experience creating short-form social content for a consumer brand, preferably in DTC, CPG, or wellness.
  • A portfolio showcasing Reels and TikToks personally shot and edited, ideally with performance results.
  • Strong editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools, including pacing, captions, sound, and on-screen text.
  • Experience shooting content using a smartphone or small camera setup, with a good understanding of lighting and framing.
  • Strong awareness of social media trends and the judgment to determine which trends align with brand identity.
  • Creative, proactive, and comfortable pitching new ideas regularly and incorporating feedback.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines, files, content versions, and approval workflows.
• Nice to Have
  • Experience in wellness, supplements, or other regulated industries, with an understanding of approved marketing claims.
  • Basic motion graphics and design skills for creating carousels, covers, and other social assets.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or providing creative direction to junior team members.

How Success Will Be Measured

• Consistent publishing cadence, with every post approved and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Three new content ideas pitched weekly, with at least two approved for production.
• Growth in engagement across organic social content, working toward a median of 300+ engagements per Instagram post.
• Development of successful, repeatable content formats that become regular content series.
• Consistent quality and timely execution across all assigned social channels.
