[Hiring] Consultant – Scientific Publications @PATH

Role Description

PATH is looking for a consultant to support peer-reviewed publications from operational research data on innovative diagnostic products in India.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Public Health, Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, Health Systems or another relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting literature reviews, evidence synthesis, or scientific research.
• Familiarity with data analysis using SPSS/ STATA.
• Strong skills in scientific writing, critical appraisal of research literature, and synthesis of technical evidence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience engaging with technical experts and public health stakeholders will be an advantage.

Requirements

• Conduct data analysis on pre-identified topics.
• Discuss and finalize analytical findings.
• Develop appropriate tables and graphs in discussion with authors and co-authors.
• Develop a draft article as per the template of a short-listed international journal with open access.
• Discuss and revise the article with inputs from authors/ co-authors.
• Finalize the article and submit to the short-listed journal for publication.

• Draft 1 peer-reviewed submission for review for two articles - Weeks 5
• Revise and finalize - Weeks 6-7
• Submission to journal - Week 8
