Role Description

As a Bid Writer, you'll play a central role in helping us secure the projects that support the UK's energy transition and critical infrastructure growth.

• Work as part of a collaborative bid team.
• Lead the development of high-quality, customer-focused written submissions.
• Work closely with subject matter experts, operational leaders, engineers, and commercial teams.
• Facilitate storyboarding sessions and shape messaging.
• Take ownership of written responses and challenge thinking where needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes, templates, and content libraries.
• Support client presentations, interviews, and other work-winning activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering major tenders, frameworks, or strategic proposals.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience leading storyboarding sessions and content workshops.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Word and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Proactive mindset and resilience under pressure.

Requirements

• Ability to travel for workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions when required.
