[Hiring] Senior Supply Chain Manager II @Mortenson

Role Description

Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager II that will support the vision, direction, and day to day operations of the Supply Chain organization. You will work closely with operations teams and suppliers to plan, coordinate, and execute Supply Chain activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to meet project timelines and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop short and long-term sourcing strategies for the Supply Chain function.
• Define and direct sourcing initiatives in alignment with strategic plans.
• Negotiate and maintain contracts with key suppliers and service providers.
• Establish strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.
• Collaborate across business functions to implement sourcing and continuous improvement strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends and implement best practices for supply chain.
• Provide centralized leadership for construction project-specific procurement.
• Lead contract negotiations with assigned customers when selling materials.
• Develop pricing strategies and provide guidance to category team on project proposals.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration within Supply Chain and across Mortenson.
• Lead team members by example and manage performance effectively.
• Champion superior customer service with a strong service orientation.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials.
• Strong negotiating, organizing, planning, verbal, and communication skills.
• Proven people leader with experience in hiring, coaching, and mentoring.
• Ability to lead initiatives and influence decisions in a matrix organization.
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Active listening skills and effective communication.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 14 years of experience.
• Current driver’s license.

Essential Physical Requirements

• This position requires sitting, seeing, hearing, and utilization of a computer and office equipment.
• The working environment consists of indoor and climate-controlled settings.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000. Actual range may vary based on location and individual qualifications.
