Role Description

The Manager, Global Supply Chain Capabilities is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and support of key supply chain systems and processes across the Global Commercial Supply Chain organization located in the United States (remotely). This role serves as a primary operational point of contact for SAP order management, logistics and distribution, SAP Transportation, product serialization, and related supply chain applications.

• Manage the operational support workload across SAP subcontracting order management, inbound and outbound logistics, transportation management, product serialization, and integration points with SAP Quality Management and Finance/Accounting.
• Own the operational backbone of the team by managing day-to-day system support, ensuring consistent service delivery, maintaining process continuity, and driving timely resolution of operational issues.
• Scope encompasses the full cycle of operational demand, from ticket intake and triage through resolution and communication, across both Commercial and Clinical Supply Chain functions.
• Must possess a strong understanding of Commercial and Clinical Supply Chain end-to-end processes, including supply execution, logistics management, distribution operations, and system-enabled business process support.
• Ability to execute independently in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment is required.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP compliance requirements, is a must.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of supply chain execution and planning processes, including order management, supply planning, inventory management, transportation & logistics management.
• Familiarity with both Commercial Supply Chain and Clinical Supply Chain business processes and operational requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a ticket-driven workflow.
• Knowledge of GxP systems, validation requirements, data integrity expectations, and regulatory compliance requirements within pharmaceutical operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, user acceptance testing, change control, validation documentation, or release deployment activities preferred.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP platforms (S/4HANA preferred), SAP Transportation, product serialization applications, logistics execution tools, and other supply chain systems in an operational or support capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years progressive experience in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, Planning Support, Supply Chain Systems, or related capabilities within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
• Master’s degree and 4+ years of relative experience preferred.

Salary Range

$114,600.00 - $154,600.00 annually. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location.
