[Hiring] Manager, Global Supply Chain @Leidos

Role Description

Leidos’ Defense Sector is seeking a Manager, Global Supply Chain to join our team. Occasional travel may be required for in-person engagements with internal customers and suppliers across multiple Leidos sites. This high-impact role reports directly to the Director, Global Supply Chain, and serves as an integrated member of the Defense Contracts and Supply Chain organization.

• Manage a team of Subcontracts professionals.
• Provide strategic leadership and act as a key interface between Leidos management and senior Contracts and Global Supply Chain management.
• Serve as the primary liaison between subcontractors and multiple programs, managing agreements of high dollar value, risk, and complexity.
• Collaborate closely with Contracts, Program Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Growth, and Business Development.
• Align subcontract outcomes with program, business area, and sector objectives.
• Communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Bring acute attention to detail and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Generally has 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
• Experience awarding and managing subcontracts in a government-approved purchasing system (CPSR).
• Successful background of using negotiating skills to maximize organizational return and minimize risk.
• Successful track record of managing a variety of subcontract types and interfacing with internal customers and suppliers.
• Organizational skills to manage concurrent projects and appropriate prioritization of actions.
• Ability to communicate clearly, including presenting status updates to senior management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoW security clearance.
• US citizenship.

Requirements

• Experience independently leading the subcontracts portion of proposal efforts.
• Ability to translate supplier data into executive-ready insights and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense and Federal programs.
• Working knowledge of CPSR compliance, NIST SP 800-171, and cyber/supplier readiness requirements.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
• CPSM, CPC, CFCM, ISM, APICS, PMI PMP, or other relevant professional certification.
• Experience working with RF, electronic warfare, missile, radar, SATCOM, aviation, space, manufacturing, or advanced defense technology supply chains.
• Experience building strong supplier relationships for future issue resolution.
• Experience supervising or leading a team(s).
• Working experience with ERP systems, ideally Deltek Costpoint and other procurement systems (e.g., Ivalua).

Pay Range

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
