[Hiring] Workday Extend Architect @Kainos

Role Description

As a Workday Extend Architect in Kainos, you’ll work with a team of specialist extend consultants on projects, ensuring the successful delivery of extend solutions.

• Work closely with customers to lead the Workday Extend project.
• Scope, gather requirements, document, implement, deploy, and support applications using the Workday Extend platform toolset.
• Build strong relationships with customers to understand their requirements, ensuring that the solution is aligned to their needs, fit for purpose, and commercially viable.
• Guide, develop, and educate others within the Workday practice on the area of Extend.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, and knowledge in an object-oriented programming language (preferably J2EE).
• Workday HCM Certified, or experience with other similar HCM/ERP systems.
• Experience designing applications to solve business and technical problems.
• Good understanding of cloud computing, web services, and associated challenges.
• Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships, and manage customer expectations.
• Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility, and empathy.
• Sound ability to formally present to senior client audiences.
• Strong commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics.
• Broad business and technology understanding and good awareness of industry trends in both HR and HR technology.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure.

Requirements

• Proficiency in other middleware/application development platforms (nice to have).
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming language or web development language (nice to have).
• Experience designing workflows to solve business and technical problems (nice to have).
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams (nice to have).
