[Hiring] Software Engineer @M3USA

Role Description

Design and implement features for PracticeMatch products that drive impact for the business and its customers.

• Contribute to the design of software systems, and review the code of other engineers.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including automated testing, clean code, peer review, and documentation, to build maintainable and adaptable applications.
• Improve the performance, security, and compliance of PracticeMatch products.
• Contribute to the repository context, conventions, automated tests, quality gates, and executable plans that make agentic coding reliable.
• Find repetitive or time-intensive engineering work that can move to AI-assisted or automated workflows, keeping human review where it protects quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot production web applications and help fix the causes of system problems.
• Work with people inside and outside engineering to meet team and company objectives.
• Contribute to projects that benefit M3 USA as a whole, collaborating across business units beyond your own team when the company needs it.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Able to review code in Python and TypeScript.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people.
• Knowledge of ColdFusion and SQL Server, including stored procedures and relational database design, plus React and version control with Git, preferred.
• Knowledge of the physician recruiting and sourcing domain, with a commitment to deepening it, preferred.

Requirements

• Engineers in this role use agentic coding with tools such as Claude Code and Codex, and apply generative AI to building systems, as a standard part of daily work.
• This includes reviewing what these tools produce: engineers are accountable for the correctness, quality, and security of AI-generated plans and code, and for curating the documentation and repository context that keep the tools effective over time.
• Active, daily use of agentic coding is a core expectation of the role.
