Role Description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

As a Software Engineer , you will help build and evolve the platform while delivering meaningful customer-facing features. This is a hands-on role focused on:

• Shipping high-quality production code
• Improving system reliability
• Contributing to the modernization of established legacy systems

A critical focus of this position is working with .NET/C# legacy systems . The ideal candidate is comfortable maintaining and extending older, established codebases while balancing:

• Development speed
• Code quality
• Scalability
• Long-term maintainability

Location: Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and shipping production systems
• Hands-on experience maintaining and extending established .NET/C# legacy systems
• Experience working with SQL Server as a primary database
• Experience developing and supporting customer-facing software features
• Experience debugging production systems and resolving technical issues

Requirements

• Strong .NET and C# development capabilities, particularly with older, established codebases
• Strong SQL Server experience and effective database management within production software environments
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities with legacy systems and production issues
• Ability to build production-quality software across frontend and backend systems
• Comfortable contributing to system design and architecture with guidance
• Ownership of features or services throughout the development lifecycle
• Experience using AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
• Clear communication of progress and effective contribution to code reviews
