Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools
• Experience in web development and navigating existing codebases
• Practical proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience using Git and GitHub for version control
• Experience with databases, SQL querying, and database troubleshooting
• Experience using Supabase or a comparable backend and database platform
• Knowledge of database design, data integrity, and data quality
• Experience troubleshooting APIs and system integrations
• Strong debugging, testing, and root cause analysis skills
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, preferred
• Ability to use AI tools to investigate issues, implement solutions, and document changes
• Ability to independently validate AI-generated code and recommendations
• Strong testing and regression testing discipline
• Experience with safe software deployment, release management, and post-deployment validation
• Administrative or data-quality experience
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• High technical aptitude and strong self-directed learning ability
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills
• Ownership of issues from initial reporting through resolution and follow-up

Responsibilities

• Use Claude Code and similar AI tools to debug issues and build improvements.
• Work within the existing codebase rather than rebuilding established functionality.
• Investigate employee-reported problems to identify their actual root causes.
• Test and verify changes before and after deployment.
• Build new features and improve existing workflows.
• Review and validate AI-generated code rather than accepting it without verification.
• Review the platform daily for errors, incomplete records, and unusual activity.
• Confirm that employees and managers complete required items and upload required documents correctly.
• Review data for errors, gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
• Perform data entry and routine platform maintenance.
• Monitor automated processes and reports.
• Manage documents, emails, and billing items flowing through the platform.
• Follow up on missing information or documentation.
• Identify incorrect workflow usage and determine whether it results from a user issue or confusing software design.
• Surface recurring mistakes and inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Recommend and help implement the appropriate solution, including training, process changes, or software improvements.
• Grow into full ownership of the platform's day-to-day health.
