[Hiring] Senior Technical Architect @State of Colorado

Role Description

Would you like to use your Salesforce architectural expertise to help make our beautiful state even better? At OIT, we build secure, scalable digital solutions that put Coloradans first. The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a Senior Technical Architect (Salesforce) to serve as the primary technical authority and platform strategist across the Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will:

• Drive architecture, define declarative and custom technical standards, guide multi-org platform expansion, and ensure seamless integration between Salesforce orgs and state systems.
• Align technical strategy with state agency mission objectives, enforce DevSecOps and security governance, and systematically rationalize technical debt to ensure scalable, resilient, and secure public service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in information technology, software engineering, or cloud architecture.
• At least five (5) years of dedicated experience architecting complex enterprise Salesforce platform solutions across multi-org landscapes.

• Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
• Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
• If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
