[Hiring] Senior Solutions Engineering Specialist @Snyk

Role Description

Our Solutions Architecture & SME team is seeking a new team member to support our go-to-market efforts. The Solution Architect is first and foremost a subject matter expert in Application Security testing (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc) and/or agentic software development & building AI-native applications.

• Partner with pre-sales teams and leverage technical expertise to define “big picture” solution architecture.
• Bridge the gap between developer workflows and C-suite priorities, quantifying Snyk’s ROI.
• Deliver deep dives into technology and compelling sessions for C-level executives.
• Collaborate with departments like Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Enablement.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive Deals and Revenue: Partner closely with Account Executives & Solutions Engineers on large deals and address customer's technical concerns.
• Create Solution Architecture: Develop “big picture” solution architecture and gain alignment among customer stakeholders.
• Be a Technical Enabler: Unblock pre-sales and post-sales account teams and contribute to the global Solutions Engineering community.
• Influence Product Strategy: Capture and prioritize field feedback to share with the Product team.
• Create and Deliver Compelling Content: Develop and deliver innovative content and technical presentations for various audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or Solution Architect experience, including $1 million+ opportunities.
• Hands-on Software Development and Application Security experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate high-pressure security objections.
• Deep technical understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps ecosystems.
• Direct experience with agentic software development and building AI-native applications.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on key projects.
• Experience working with Financial and Insurance organizations is a bonus.
