[Hiring] Senior Solutions Architect @Cloud Kinetics

Role Description

Cloud Kinetics is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Proserv PoD (Practice on demand) team. In this role, you will be deployed on AWS Professional Services engagements, working alongside customers to design, build, and deliver cloud transformation projects on AWS. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise customers architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that leverage the full breadth of the AWS platform. As a Senior Solutions Architect within Cloud Kinetics’ Proserv Pod, you will be embedded in AWS Proserv engagements, leading technical delivery, developing solution blueprints, and mentoring junior team members. You will collaborate closely with AWS Sales, Partner teams, and customer stakeholders to drive successful cloud adoption outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT/cloud architecture, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS (or equivalent public cloud platform).
• Proven experience leading technical delivery engagements for enterprise customers in a consulting or professional services capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in two or more of the following domains: cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, data & analytics, DevSecOps, ML/AI, or application modernization.

Requirements

• Deep proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS/ECS, and related services.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Direct Connect, load balancing, and CDN.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Java, Go, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of security principles: IAM, encryption, network security, compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and GitOps workflows.
