[Hiring] xECM for SAP Solutions Architect @DistantJob

Role Description

Every enterprise has two kinds of documents: the ones linked to the right SAP object, and the ones that will never be found again. Our client needs someone who makes sure there’s only one kind. At DistantJob, we’re looking for an experienced xECM for SAP Solutions Architect for one of our clients, a fast-growing SAP and OpenText consultancy. They help organizations get the most out of their enterprise content by connecting OpenText Extended ECM with the SAP systems that run their business.

This isn’t an ivory-tower architect role. You’ll design the solution, and you’ll also roll up your sleeves to help deliver it. You’ll work directly with our client’s customers, often in industries like energy, oil and gas, and utilities, to turn complex business processes into smart, well-integrated content solutions.

• Designing and implementing OpenText Extended ECM solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite
• Leading client conversations to understand business processes and translating them into xECM configurations
• Staying hands-on with configuration and technical delivery, not just drawing the architecture
• Working in small, focused project teams, usually a project manager, an architect (you!), and a delivery specialist
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience designing and implementing OpenText xECM for SAP
• Experience integrating xECM with SAP systems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and/or ECC)
• Strong enterprise content management background with OpenText Content Server
• Comfort moving between solution design and hands-on delivery
• Client-facing consulting experience and excellent English communication skills
• An ownership mindset: on small teams, everyone’s impact shows

Requirements

• SAP SuccessFactors consulting experience (bonus points)
• If you can wear both the xECM and SuccessFactors hats, we really want to talk to you
• Experience with xECM for SuccessFactors
• Experience with clients in energy, oil and gas, or utilities
• OpenText or SAP certifications. If you don’t have them yet, our client will support you in getting certified

Benefits

• 100% remote work. Our client doesn’t even have an office
• A small, collaborative company where your work is visible and valued
• Challenging projects with real enterprise clients
• Support to grow your certifications and expertise in the SAP and OpenText ecosystem

Location and schedule

We’re looking for talented candidates in any region who can overlap with US Central time for at least half the workday.

If you meet these qualifications and are ready to contribute your expertise to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply!
