Role Description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack, you will help us meet the challenge of building and evolving comprehensive automation coverage for features and releases. You will:

• Work directly with the product engineering team to develop and maintain our test tools.
• Write and test product code.
• Participate in design reviews to architect testable systems.
• Guide designs and code to enhance modularity and testability.
• Leverage AI and tooling to lead the implementation of a test automation strategy.
• Lead building, maintaining, and effective utilization of automated tests.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure robust test coverage for features and releases.
• Contribute to improving existing automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with CI/CD team to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting abilities and debug issues found during testing and after release.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with short release cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering and testing.
• Demonstrable knowledge in at least one language used for web development (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Comfort working in a backend language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Go).
• Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Buildkite, Spinnaker, Jenkins).
• Experience using quality signals to prioritize work and demonstrate impact.
• Excellent communication skills towards facilitating interactions with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise developing solutions to ambiguous problems.
• Curiosity about applying AI/LLMs to testing and developer productivity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
