[Hiring] Senior Software Engineer @Triptease

Role Description

As a member of a small squad at Triptease, you will be responsible for building, growing, and maintaining different parts of the Triptease stack. Your role will involve:

• Working with both frontend and backend components, with a lean towards backend.
• Owning the strategy and actions needed for success within your team.
• Participating in daily standups, weekly planning, and frequent retrospectives and feedback sessions.
• Embracing pair programming and trunk-based development.
• Showcasing accomplishments to the rest of the company at the end of each week.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed, high availability, high throughput systems.
• Comfortable from client side to server side, with a lean towards backend.
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to work well with product managers.

Requirements

• Experience with coding agents in day-to-day work.
• Ability to verify by system, not trust; tests come first.
• Experience leading substantial pieces of work end to end.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and propose approaches.
• Collaborative and open-minded, comfortable with pairing.
• Pride in the code you ship, leaving it better than you found it.
• Tests are integral to your build process and drive design.
• Experience with delivery pipelines, A/B testing, and monitoring.
