[Hiring] Senior Software Engineer @Booksy

Role Description

As a Senior Software Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager, your purpose will be to help make the team AI native:

• Half your time building the agentic workflows, tools, and guardrails we ship with.
• Half shipping product with them yourself.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing how a ticket moves from idea to merged code, with agents doing almost all of the implementation.
• Building our coding and review agents, MCP integrations, CI hooks, and shared skills library.
• Setting up review gates and evaluations so agent output meets the same quality and security bar as human work.
• Owning the web side of our product in Vue and representing the team in the Web Developers Guild.
• Coaching engineers and sharing what works with other teams to help everyone adopt and master new AI-driven ways of working.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI developer tooling others use: agent skills or rules, MCP servers, custom agents, or AI steps in CI.
• Senior-level experience shipping production software, with solid web development in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Daily use of coding agents on production work, and a clear view of where they fail and how to catch it.
• Sound architecture judgement and the ability to change how other engineers work through coaching, curiosity, and practical enablement.
• Conversational level English language skills.

Requirements

• Production experience with Vue.
• Python backend, iOS (Swift), or Android (Kotlin) experience.
• A track record of leading a change in engineering practice across more than one team.

Benefits

• Depending on which market you're joining, you might have office access or be fully remote.
• Additional benefits that might differ depending on the location.
