Role Description

Micro1 is seeking experienced software engineers to help train next-generation AI systems by:

• Creating realistic coding tasks
• Implementing fixes and features
• Building deterministic verifiers for valid solutions

Project work may involve:

• Reviewing and improving code
• Enhancing test suites
• Improving model-generated technical work

Micro1 is looking for strong backend experience in:

• Java
• Node.js
• Go
• Rust
• TypeScript
• Python
• C++
• Similar languages

Additional skills include:

• Building scalable services and APIs
• Comfort with debugging and performance work
• Automated testing
• Sound code-review judgment
• Testing strategy and maintaining large test suites (a plus)

Engagement details:

• Independent contractor, remote
• Approximately 15 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Compensation: $30–$100/hour, output-based, paid per task that meets project specifications
• Minimum weekly task submissions apply

Selection process includes:

• Screening questions
• Approximately 30-minute AI interview
• Technical assessment if required
• Hiring-manager review
