[Hiring] Senior Software Development Manager @BeyondTrust

Role Description

BeyondTrust is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to lead the team driving the evolution of the NHI Governance domain within our Pathfinder products. You will build, grow, and lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for delivering a new platform-native module and the scalable, secure, and extensible services that power our SaaS offerings; helping customers discover, assess, and remediate non-human identities (service accounts, workload identities, secrets and keys, and AI agents) across cloud and on-premise environments. This role blends people leadership, delivery ownership, and technical judgment: you will set the bar for execution and quality while developing engineers and partnering across product, design, and platform teams to solve complex identity and security challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing software engineering teams building cloud-based or SaaS products.
• A strong technical foundation, with the ability to engage credibly in architecture, design, and code-level trade-offs.
• Experience leading teams that use AI-assisted, agentic development tools such as Claude Code, and foster their effective and responsible adoption.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and at a high-quality bar.
• Experience partnering with product and design in an agile delivery environment.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-native development, microservices, and public cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience developing engineers and growing talent through coaching and mentorship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive clarity and direction amid ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and business needs across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Domain experience in identity security: IAM, NHI/Secrets, cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID), OAuth/OIDC.
• Experience delivering multi-tenant shared platform services consumed by other engineering teams.
• Experience leading a team through a 0-to-1 module or domain build.
