Role Description

The Senior Salesforce Solutions Architect & Developer supports the evolution of our Salesforce platform. This pivotal role demands a blend of hands-on coding and configuration expertise, coupled with a strong architectural mindset to ensure our Salesforce ecosystem is robust, scalable, and aligned with long-term business objectives. You will work on a small agile team - instrumental in understanding the end-to-end flow of data and processes, from initial input to final output, across our integrated systems.

• Support and sometimes lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical requirements and architectural blueprints.
• Architect, develop, and manage robust integration solutions that connect Salesforce with external systems.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other programmatic solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
• Partner with business units to analyze current processes, identify pain points, and propose innovative Salesforce-based solutions.
• Stay abreast of new Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 8-12 years of experience preferred, of progressive experience in Salesforce development, administration, and solution architecture
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect credentials are highly preferred.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ, including advanced configuration and customization.
• Mastery of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex integrations using various methods, including:
• Dell Boomi: Extensive experience in designing, building, and deploying integration processes.
• Apigee: Experience with API Management and gateway solutions.
• REST/SOAP APIs: Expert-level understanding and application of API design principles and integration patterns.
• Apache Kafka: Experience with event streaming architectures and real-time data processing.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, security models, and large data volume considerations within Salesforce.
