[Hiring] Senior Salesforce Developer @Lean Solutions Group

Role Description

Currently, we are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a greenfield Salesforce implementation for a global security technology manufacturer. This role focuses on implementing custom functionality and Salesforce-side integrations using Apex and Lightning Web Components, working alongside Slalom’s business analysts and architects to deliver defined requirements and approved solution designs.

You will work within a distributed Scrum team supporting a new Salesforce environment covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the newer Revenue Cloud / Agentforce Revenue Management solution. The implementation primarily focuses on configure, price, and quote (CPQ) processes, beginning with an Australian business rollout and potential expansion into additional regions.

You will develop custom functionality where standard Salesforce capabilities and declarative automation are insufficient, including:

• Apex logic
• Lightning Web Components
• Salesforce-side integration components

You will follow solution designs prepared by Slalom’s architects and collaborate with a separate team responsible for the SAP BTP middleware and integration layer.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Ability to write bulkified Apex code and work within Salesforce platform limits.
• Experience implementing Salesforce integrations, including HTTP callouts and platform events.
• Sound understanding of standard Salesforce capabilities and declarative automation, including when custom development is appropriate.
• Ability to translate defined requirements and approved technical designs into working Salesforce functionality.
• Experience working with version control and structured Salesforce deployment practices.
• Ability to work within a Scrum team and collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business analysts, and QA.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to use them responsibly to support implementation work.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with an international team.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday on an agreed schedule providing approximately two hours of overlap with the New Zealand team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with the newer Revenue Cloud / Agentforce Revenue Management solution.
• Familiarity with CPQ processes, including product configuration, pricing, and quoting.
• Experience supporting implementations involving Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Familiarity with Gearset and GitHub for Salesforce version control and deployment workflows.
• Experience working with Salesforce integrations through SAP BTP middleware.
• Experience contributing to greenfield Salesforce implementations or regional rollouts.

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving: Investigate technical issues and implement practical solutions within the approved architecture.
• Ownership and reliability: Follow through on assigned work and maintain progress when working outside the New Zealand team’s hours.
• Clear communication: Explain implementation decisions, raise technical questions, and communicate blockers effectively in English.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with functional consultants, architects, QA, and integration teams across different locations.
• Adaptability and attention to detail: Learn unfamiliar platform capabilities while maintaining care in implementation and defect resolution.
