[Hiring] Senior Lead, Software Engineering @Kyndryl

Role Description

As part of our HR Systems team, you’ll help shape the future of cloud-based managed services and play a critical role in supporting the Workday HCM Platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide functional expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of Workday HR solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to design and implement solutions using Workday, focusing on Compensation and Advanced Compensation management modules.
• Support the Workday Compensation capability area, with opportunities to contribute to HCM Core, Staffing/Onboarding, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
• Partner with the Compensation/Total Rewards Team to design and deploy complex global annual merit and bonus cycles.
• Analyze, design, develop, and deliver functional modifications and enhancements to Workday HR systems/tools.
• Serve as a Workday SME, actively participating in Workday Releases and staying ahead of new features.
• Manage annual compensation administration, including merit and incentive processes, and ensure system/data interfaces are optimized.
• Maintain salary administration, including job structure, total compensation structure, eligibility, communication, and training.
• Configure, test, and administer annual processes in Workday (e.g., Performance Reviews, Compensation cycles).
• Create and maintain dashboards for business leaders.
• Audit system data for accuracy and serve as the primary reviewer for data entry.
• Proactively plan and coordinate departmental preparations for major system updates.
• Act as the main support contact for user questions and take ownership of identified issues.
• Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and identify solutions for Workday product gaps.
• Provide global coverage, including Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certifications preferred).
• 7+ years as a hands-on Workday SME, configuring and maintaining HCM, Core, and Advanced Compensation modules.
• Experience leading Core and Advanced Compensation cycles in Workday.
• Experience deploying multiple Workday HCM implementations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to work with executive leadership and clients.
• Strong communication skills to translate business needs into system configuration.
• Knowledge of HR processes and touch points in HCM, payroll, benefits, time tracking, recruiting, and security.
• Experience supporting HCM Core, Staffing/Onboarding, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
• Certifications: Workday Core HR, Workday Compensation.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience as a solution architect in a large-scale environment.
• Experience with global coverage and supporting stakeholders across multiple regions.
