[Hiring] Senior Software Engineer @SeedTrust

Role Description

This is an independent-contractor, full-stack Senior Software Engineer role, based in Latin America. You'll work across:

• React/Next.js
• TypeScript
• Node.js
• SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

You will own features end to end — from a product conversation through to what's running in production — rather than working in a narrow lane defined by someone else. Hands-on experience with financial or transactional systems (payments, billing, claims, settlements) is directly relevant, since settlement calculation and case-state tracking sit at the core of what IDRE does; prior IDR/No Surprises Act knowledge is not required, that part is very learnable on the job.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Real production depth in React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL
• Advanced/professional spoken and written English
• Based in a Latin American country
• Able to work with substantial daily overlap with US Eastern Time
• Ability to work and invoice as an independent contractor in your country of residence

Requirements

• Real ownership from day one — this isn't a maintenance seat on a mature product; IDRE is still being actively built out, and your technical decisions will shape how it works for years.
• A genuine domain to go deep in — healthcare dispute resolution and payments logic is a niche most engineers never get exposed to, and depth here is a real differentiator for your own career.
• A small, senior team means your voice actually carries weight in architecture and product conversations — not diluted across a 40-person org.
• Direct, daily collaboration with a US-based team, in English, on a product serving real clients — not a back-office ticket queue.

How to apply

Direct applicants only — no third-party agencies or recruiters.
