[Hiring] Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer @Newfire Global Partners

Role Description

Newfire Global Partners is seeking a Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer (Node.js + React) to enhance the customer’s web registration and content experience, focusing on:

• Increasing gym enrollment conversion
• Improving content discovery
• Rebuilding the registration flow for simultaneous gym enrollment
• Expanding bi-directional data sharing with gym partners
• Improving post-registration personalization
• Enhancing search functionality and results presentation

The second part of the project supports the customer’s Commercial enrollment funnels, which involves:

• Integrating payment and subscription handoffs
• Targeted improvements across landing pages, personalization, and feature flagging
• Testing infrastructure, including integration with payment and subscription flows
• Implementing LaunchDarkly for new commercial features
• Full automated test coverage for new or significantly modified code
• Continued support for WordPress-based content delivery while transitioning to Contentful

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience using TypeScript/React and Node.js (7+ years for Lead)
• Strong experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable backend services and modern web applications
• Hands-on experience with WordPress, including custom integrations, APIs, plugins, themes, or headless CMS implementations
• Experience integrating subscription, billing, or payment platforms, ideally Zuora
• Experience working with Contentful or a comparable headless CMS
• Experience implementing LaunchDarkly or a comparable feature-flagging platform
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, data flows, and service-oriented architecture
• Experience with DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, or similar relational and NoSQL databases
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review
• Experience in mature CI/CD environments and contributing to automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices: clean code, automated testing, version control, observability, and secure development
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, cross-functional team
• Ability to work within a regulated healthcare environment

Requirements

• For Lead: ability to serve as the day-to-day technical point of contact with the client
• For Lead: ability to guide architectural decisions, lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and coordinate delivery across workstreams
• For Lead: experience establishing development standards, improving engineering processes, and taking ownership of technical delivery and team outcomes

• For Lead: experience introducing AI-enabled development practices across engineering teams
