[Hiring] Senior Full-Stack Engineer @DoiT

Role Description

The senior Full-Stack Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer into our R&D team to own our AI cost visibility product end-to-end:

• From the Go services that ingest and model AI spend, through the APIs that expose it, to the React interfaces where FinOps practitioners and platform engineers make decisions.
• You'll shape how it works, not just implement someone else's spec.
• You'll work AI-augmented from day one, using AI across your whole workflow.

Responsibilities

• Owning features end-to-end, from understanding the customer's pain to release, monitoring, and iteration.
• Knowing the product and the domain, understanding how AI spend works and how FinOps practitioners reason about it.
• Working AI-augmented, using AI daily across the full span of your work.
• Full-stack delivery, designing, building, and scaling backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React.
• API-first, building capabilities fully available through APIs.
• Raising the bar by setting standards for the team, mentoring peers, and sharing knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multi-tenant SaaS products.
• Strong Go for backend services - APIs, data processing, and operational realities.
• Strong TypeScript and modern React, with a good eye for data presentation.
• Comfortable across the stack, able to own a feature from the data model to the interface.
• Experience building on public cloud (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure) and working proficiency in SQL against an analytical store such as BigQuery.
• Product-oriented thinking, caring about user experience as much as technical implementation.
• AI-augmented working style, using AI tools across your engineering workflow.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving market.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated; confident, thorough, and tenacious.

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products would be a strong plus.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrating a portfolio of what you've built in your career so far.
