[Hiring] Frontend Engineer @chargecloud

Role Description

Our website brings the chargecloud Operating System, our solutions and our expertise to life for Charging Heroes across Europe. As a member of our marketing team, you’ll ensure that approved UX/UI designs are turned into a high-quality, flexible and reliable website – and continue to develop it step by step.

• Develop our website using React and Next.js, improving existing architecture and implementing new pages, modules, and reusable components.
• Integrate Storyblok with our Next.js front-end by developing suitable components, content structures, and fields to ensure flexible and reliable content display.
• Translate UX/UI designs into responsive front-ends, considering different screen sizes, states, interactions, and language versions.
• Integrate APIs and external services while focusing on performance, technical SEO, and accessibility.
• Ensure quality through technical testing, code reviews, and clean releases.
• Work with the online marketing team and our agency to keep the technical backlog achievable, provide realistic estimates of effort, and address risks and technical limitations early.
• Use AI-powered tools to enhance development, testing, and documentation efficiency.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in professional front-end development with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Practical experience with Storyblok and the technical implementation of components, content structures, and fields.
• Knowledge of Node.js, npm, and API integrations.
• Ability to translate UX/UI designs into responsive, maintainable, and reusable front-ends while ensuring performance, accessibility, and technical SEO.
• Experience working with Git/GitHub, pull requests, and structured testing and release processes.
• Ability to work independently, in a structured and pragmatic manner, and explain technical topics clearly.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
