Role Description

Responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end document processing solutions on the Tungsten Total Agility (TTA) platform. Acts as a technical advisor and bridge between business stakeholders and development — from requirements analysis through architecture to go-live.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze existing document processes and create solution concepts
• Design and implement TTA capture workflows end-to-end
• Develop customer-specific TTA extensions (C# server scripts, custom activities)
• Migrate KTM/Kofax Capture solutions to TTA
• Configure classification and extraction models (rule-based and AI-driven)
• Build and maintain validation forms with cascading dropdown logic
• Configure exports and integrate with ECM/DMS systems
• Perform performance analysis and optimize STP rates
• Create technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer
• Evaluate and pilot new AI/LLM capabilities for Intelligent Capture.

Qualifications

• Consulting & Project Management
• Requirements Analysis & Process Design: Elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for document capture and processing workflows (Capture, Classification, Extraction, Validation, Export)
• Solution Architecture: Design of scalable TTA solutions including workflow design, integration architecture, and interface definitions (FileNet, SAP, DMS, ERP)
• Stakeholder Management: Advisory engagement with business, IT, and management; workshop facilitation, solution concept presentations
• Migration & Transformation: Proven experience migrating legacy platforms (Kofax Capture, KTM, ReadSoft, OpenText) to TTA; creation of migration strategies and gap analyses
• Best-Practice Governance: Definition and enforcement of project standards (naming conventions, configuration management, documentation, code reviews)
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Enablement of customer teams and junior consultants in TTA Designer, administration, and operations.

Requirements

• TTA Platform (Core Expertise)
• TTA Designer: Process modeling (BPMN-based), form design (scan, validation, and review forms), capture workflow configuration
• TTA SDK (.NET): Development of server-side scripts and custom activities in C# (.NET Framework 4.8 / .NET 6+); proficient use of TotalAgility.Sdk.* services (CaptureDocumentService, JobService, ProcessService, DocumentService)
• Classification & Extraction: Configuration and training of document classification (Capture Classification Groups, Supervised Learning) and field extraction (zones, regex, anchor-based, Trainable Extraction)
• Validation Forms & Cascading Dropdowns: Design of complex validation forms with cascading fields, DB-driven dropdown values, and client-side JavaScript
• Export & Integration: Configuration of export connectors (FileNet, SharePoint, REST/SOAP Web Services), field mapping design, error handling, and retry logic
• Workflow Automation: Design of workflow activities, variable management, conditions, loops, exception handling, timer events.
• Software Development (General)
• C# / .NET: Strong object-oriented programming skills, LINQ, async/await, dependency injection
• SQL Server: Stored procedures, parameterized queries, database design for metadata and dropdown tables
• JavaScript / TypeScript: Client-side scripting for TTA forms, validation logic, UI customization
• REST / SOAP APIs: Design and consumption of web services; JSON/XML processing
• Version Control: Git (branching, merge, PR-based workflow)
• CI/CD: Working knowledge of build pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for assembly deployment.
• System Architecture & Integration
• Enterprise Content Management: Experience with ECM systems (IBM FileNet, OpenText, SharePoint) and their metadata models
• Infrastructure: Understanding of TTA server topologies (Application Server, Web Server, Transformation Server, DB), licensing models, sizing
• Security: OWASP awareness, secure credential management (no hardcoded secrets), encryption, RBAC concepts.

• Intelligent Document Processing (IDP): Experience with AI-driven document classification and data extraction (Tungsten AI, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Google Document AI, or comparable)
• Machine Learning for Capture: Understanding of training cycles for classification and extraction models; precision/recall evaluation; feedback loop design (Human-in-the-Loop)
• Large Language Models (LLM): Working knowledge of LLM applications for document understanding, summarization, and data extraction (prompt engineering, RAG concepts)
• Process Mining & Analytics: Ability to analyze process data, identify bottlenecks, and optimize STP (Straight-Through Processing) rates
• Conversational AI / Copilot Integration: Understanding of AI assistant integration into capture and validation workflows (e.g., Copilot-assisted validation, automatic field suggestions)
• Responsible AI: Awareness of bias, transparency, data privacy (GDPR), and ethical AI use in enterprise contexts.
