Role Description

As a Salesforce Developer, you will design and deliver scalable, secure Salesforce solutions that directly support fundraising, donor management, reporting, and program delivery for a mission-driven global organization. Your technical expertise will enhance operational efficiency and strengthen impact for children and families worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant Salesforce development experience
• Proven hands-on custom development using Apex and Lightning
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and third-party vendors
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong Salesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Proficiency in declarative tools such as Flow and Process Builder
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, data modelling, and security
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and ETL processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce deployment practices
• Awareness of security best practices in software development
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities
• Practical knowledge of Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud features (highly desirable)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant Salesforce or related technology certifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience working in nonprofit or purpose-driven organizations (desirable)
• Experience within Christian NFP environments (desirable)

Requirements

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and platform tools
• Build scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce-based applications
• Configure and enhance Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) functionality including donor and household management
• Adapt standard Salesforce objects and processes for nonprofit use cases
• Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems
• Develop automation using declarative tools and programmatic solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and debug issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates, Nonprofit Cloud features, and best practices
• Contribute to improving development processes and solution quality
• Demonstrate and uphold organizational values
• Participate in corporate and individual prayer and worship activities (encouraged)
• Perform other duties aligned with the position as required
