Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain Salesforce solutions in support of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development, Apex, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, SOQL, Lightning, Visualforce, and end-to-end web development.

The candidate must be highly organized, proactive, self-directed, and capable of driving work independently from requirements gathering through implementation. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce applications and solutions.
• Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Apex Triggers, Lightning, Lightning Pages, and Visualforce.
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and established software design patterns.
• Develop solutions involving CRUD operations, SOQL, data modeling, and Salesforce configuration.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Provide analysis and technical requirements for integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications.
• Design and implement application integrations using appropriate APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, application designs, development standards, and implementation documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and other technical teams.
• Drive assigned work from requirements through successful implementation with minimal supervision.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced developers.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices for Salesforce development.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise development standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional IT/software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development and customization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex and Apex Triggers.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns.
• Experience developing Lightning Pages/Components and Visualforce Pages.
• Strong knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce data management.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, development, and application architecture.
• Strong experience with CRUD operations and end-to-end web development.
• Experience with .NET OOP and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with application integration and enterprise web services.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and software development practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Experience with Salesforce integration technologies and APIs.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Salesforce certifications are preferred.
