[Hiring] Salesforce Technical Lead @ASPCA

Role Description

This leadership position will serve as the primary technical authority for the Information Technology Salesforce instance, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle including:

• Planning
• Design
• Development
• Testing
• Ongoing support

The Salesforce Technical Lead will lead a team of Salesforce professionals, guiding them towards delivering high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include:

• Maximizing system efficiencies
• Capitalizing on features and benefits relative to user needs
• Creating and supporting compliant and automated ASPCA mission-critical information and systems

This remote-based position requires travel and is open to all eligible candidates based within the United States. A Cover Letter is required to complete your application.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, Unit Testing)
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce Lightning and configuring Lightning Web Components
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce Flow Builder
• Advanced proficiency of Salesforce.com platform out-of-the-box functionality and configuration
• Proficiency developing and modifying systems including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs (preferred)
• Proficiency with Force.com Migration Tool
• Proficiency with code change control using Github (preferred)
• Proficiency with relational databases, database architecture, data modeling, and ETL tools
• Considerable knowledge of software development life-cycle methodologies, SaaS, and IT best practices
• Knowledge of complex business systems integration and object-oriented design patterns
• Familiarity with other programming languages, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Familiarity with other technologies, including CRMs, Airtable or BI tools (preferred)

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience required
• 2+ years experience as a people manager leading and managing technical teams required
• Experience acting in a Technical Lead role and using Agile development methodologies required
• Experience developing custom Salesforce solutions required
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II Certifications required; Application Architect or System Architect certifications preferred
• 2+ years’ experience using the Salesforce platform to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions strongly preferred
• Experience in creating standard operating procedures (SOP), maintaining and updating tickets, creating incident reports, processing change requests and troubleshooting technical problems (preferred)
• Experience leading the planning, development, and implementation of custom and scalable Salesforce solutions (preferred)
• Experience working at a non-profit organization (preferred)
• Experience using a Salesforce DevOps platform, Gearset (preferred)
