Role Description

Health Futures is seeking a Full Stack Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both UI and cloud-based backend development, with experience in creating scalable and efficient web applications using Python, React JS, and PostgreSQL. In addition to strong technical capabilities, this role requires direct client-facing experience, including the ability to understand business needs, communicate technical solutions clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using UI technologies such as HTML, Tailwind CSS, and React.
• Design and implement cloud-based backend solutions using Python Flask, RESTful APIs, and database management (SQL or NoSQL).
• Develop serverless architectures using Azure Functions.
• Develop and maintain microservices architectures.
• Implement software development best practices, including version control (Git).
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in client discussions, demos, and solution walkthroughs, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal and client teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in Agile software development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry (any sub-domain) will be given preference.
• 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Expertise in React, Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django/SQLAlchemy), and C#.
• Strong expertise with Azure functions, event-driven systems, especially serverless solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the ability to learn new systems and work independently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that emphasize investigation and solution building.

Benefits

• Contract (6 months with a possibility of extension).
• Pay: $50 to $60 per hour.
