[Hiring] Mid/Senior Software Engineer @igus

Role Description

As part of one of our cross-functional and international teams you will:

• Implement integration and/or process automation scenarios using a variety of technologies, including MuleSoft, microservices or message queues, etc.
• Develop microservices as part of the ERP landscape.
• Technically design and implement requirements in collaboration with the software architects.
• Analyze problems and contribute ideas to implement solutions, design architecture, and improve processes.
• Ensure software quality, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with C# (.NET), Java or other comparable object-oriented language (technology-agnostic mindset required).
• Proven expertise in designing solutions and selecting the right technologies to meet business requirements.
• Strong background in system and process integration, ideally in ERP-related or internal business processes.
• Interest in exploring and mastering the MuleSoft ecosystem (prior experience is beneficial).
• Knowledge and experience with AI-assisted development is highly valuable.
• Knowledge of Microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, DevOps practices, and observability tools (Grafana, Application Insights).
• Comfortable with collaborative methodologies such as Pair Programming/Mob Programming.
• Team-oriented with a value stream and customer-oriented mindset.
• University degree or higher vocational training in computer science with practical experience (5-10 years).
• Fluent in English (C1/C2). German language is a big plus but not required.
