[Hiring] Mid/Senior Gameplay Programmer @Novaquark

Role Description

Implement, and maintain high-performance gameplay system features and underlying systems (e.g., inventory and equipments, damage calculation, world gameplay elements) that meet ambitious creative and technical requirements.

• Contribute to team-level technical discussions regarding implementation methods, tools, and workflow.
• Team composition: The team has 4 members, title will be: Intermediate GPP - Systems.
• Team work: With design and GPP teams.
• Work alongside designers and technical artists to program core gameplay systems spanning inventory and equipment, damage calculation, and world gameplay elements.
• Take ownership of significant gameplay system features.
• Understand the needs of other teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and develop robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven implementation experience in Unreal Engine.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Participate in improving the code base by following processes (technical documentation, peer reviews, etc.) and proactively suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with designers and other GPP teams to gather their needs and support them in setting up systems in the game.
• Become familiar with the project and the codebase to own several systems related topics.
