[Hiring] Lead Software Engineer @Monarch

Role Description

Finances are one of the major sources of stress in American households, and nine out of ten Americans say nothing would make them feel more confident than having their personal finances in order. At Monarch, we are building the most comprehensive personal finance platform to help people improve their financial lives and achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• You are very comfortable working with cross-platform (Android / iOS) React Native apps.
• You have worked with a high-performing engineering team building a consumer-facing product.
• You enjoy providing help and mentorship to other really strong engineers who have less experience in your area of specialty.
• You can help set-up or improve best practices around mobile deployment (CI/CD, automated testing, etc).
• You know how to profile/debug the performance of React Native apps on both iOS and Android.

Requirements

• Experience with Apollo GraphQL (recommended, not required).
• Experience with Typescript (recommended, not required).
• Experience working in a monorepo (recommended, not required).
• Comfort making (or learning to make) back-end changes (in Python) if the need comes up occasionally (recommended, not required).
