[Hiring] Lead Pega Developer @EPAM

Role Description

We are seeking a Lead Pega Developer to provide technical leadership across design-to-deployment activities, guide implementation, and drive the delivery of scalable enterprise solutions on the Pega platform.

• Provide technical leadership to the project team to perform code review, prevent and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain depth of knowledge across multiple technological areas, including applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products, and frameworks.
• Define and document architecture, capture and document non-functional (architectural) requirements.
• Prepare work estimates and define technical solutions.
• Configure key design solutions, patterns, and complex product features.
• Maintain the security of all system applications.
• Develop shared and reusable enterprise rules and workflow components within Pega Process Rules Commander.
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and solution architecture documentation.
• Communicate and present problem definitions and proposed solutions to multiple stakeholders regarding complex IT, technical, and business issues.
• Scope, plan, and deliver projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience on Pega 7.x and 8.x, including a leadership role in designing and developing shared/reusable enterprise rules and workflow components.
• Certified Pega Lead System Architect certification.
• Proficiency in process methodology and development methodologies such as Agile, SDLC, and Iterative, along with object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
• Experience in at least one Pega strategic framework such as Customer Service, Decisioning and Marketing, or CLM in the financial services domain.
• Experience in web technologies including CSS, JavaScript, Servlets, and JSP.
• Knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, SOA and RESTful concepts, and messaging (pub-sub and point-to-point concepts).
• Experience with CI/CD configuration and release management.
• Experience with Pega Cloud (AWS) or third-party Cloud-hosted solutions.
• Expertise in analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in architecture design methodologies required to support the Pega 7x / 8x platform.
• Experience with RDBMS tools such as Postgres, Oracle or MSSQL, knowledge of SQL commands (PL/SQL, T-SQL), and proficiency in database performance tuning.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
