Role Description

We are building a Lead Java Developer role for the Assurance Agent team, delivering an AI-enabled platform to detect and remediate security issues. You will create backend services and agent workflows using Google ADK and BMAD methodology in a greenfield, spec-driven program; apply now.

• Design and build backend services and AI agent components that enable automated vulnerability detection and remediation workflows.
• Create, configure, and compose AI agents by defining skills, tools, and multi-agent orchestration patterns using Google ADK and BMAD methodology.
• Collaborate with React and Python ADK engineers to ship end-to-end agent capabilities across multiple business unit teams.
• Apply spec-driven development practices by starting each feature from a spec and keeping every implementation traceable to it.
• Lead technically by reviewing code, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions with the Anchor/SA.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years of hands-on AI agent development experience, including agentic workflows, orchestration, fault tolerance, validation, and hallucination vs deterministic error handling.
• Solid understanding of orchestration patterns and hands-on work with agentic frameworks such as ADK or LangGraph.
• Demonstrated experience with spec-driven / documentation-first development practices.
• Ability to operate independently across distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.

Requirements

• Working proficiency with BMAD methodology.
• Google ADK experience in Python or Java.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and Python.
• Background with security tooling such as SAST, DAST, SCA, or vulnerability management platforms.
• Familiarity with backstage.io or developer portal platforms.
