Role Description

As a Junior WordPress Developer, you will be at the core of the clients web production team, tasked with designing and building responsive websites primarily using Elementor. Your impact will span both technical implementation—such as configuring complex Gravity Forms and managing DNS settings—and creative visual design to ensure brand consistency. This is an exciting opportunity for an independent self-starter with a strong eye for design to take ownership of site builds, optimizations, and client maintenance requests in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive, user-friendly WordPress websites using Elementor to meet specific client requirements.
• Create and edit visual assets, graphics, and banners to ensure consistency in branding, typography, and layout across all digital projects.
• Configure and manage complex Gravity Forms, smoothly implementing conditional logic, notifications, and third-party integrations.
• Perform routine site maintenance, handle plugin updates, execute backups, and troubleshoot issues to resolve client and internal team requests promptly.
• Implement foundational on-page SEO best practices and monitor site performance utilizing analytics tools.
• Manage basic DNS setups, including pointing A records, CNAMEs, MX records, and nameservers to ensure seamless site operations and email deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in page building and site design using Elementor or Elementor Pro (Required).
• Solid foundation in general WordPress management, including themes, plugins, and the admin dashboard (Required).
• Working knowledge of graphic design software (Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator) paired with a strong eye for design, layout, and typography (Required).
• Demonstrated experience configuring Gravity Forms and a clear understanding of DNS management and propagation (Required).
• Basic understanding of on-page SEO principles and tools like Google Analytics or Search Console (Required).
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a remote environment, and communicate clearly (Required).
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for custom styling and minor tweaks (Preferred).
• Experience with WooCommerce, membership plugins, Git (version control), and WCAG accessibility standards (Preferred).

Requirements

• Priority Location: Latin America (Mexico, Central America, or South America)
• Working Hours: Full-time, Pacific Time (PT) business hours (or significant overlap)
• Salary Range: $2,000 - $3,000 USD per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)
