[Hiring] Full Stack GIS Application Developer @Computer Task Group, Inc

Role Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Full Stack GIS Application Developer (JavaScript/Python) position for our client.

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

An Application Developer with Fullstack experience is responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side core functionality of interactive web and mobile applications. They orchestrate page flow, develop web services, and perform database integration using various programming languages, protocols, and tools. These may include:

• Java
• Ruby
• Perl
• HTTP
• SOAP
• Rest web services
• Python
• Bash
• Git
• Various APIs

The developer typically works with multiple platforms, including:

• Content Management Systems (CMS)
• eCommerce
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Cloud infrastructure
• Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies and the ability to design, develop, and integrate applications efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS for building and maintaining web applications and custom dashboards, and for integrating Fulcrum with enterprise systems.
• Experience using GitHub for version control.
• Experience with Python is a plus for scripting, data analysis, or backend development tasks.
• Experience with tools and libraries such as Salesforce, Maximo Enterprise, Esri GIS, PostGIS, Leaflet, Mapbox, CartoDB, GDAL, QGIS, TileMill, and Bootstrap is a bonus.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Electric and Gas business processes, including asset management, outage planning, and customer operations.
• Proven track record in managing multi-vendor environments and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Benefits

• The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65 to $70 hourly.
• Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
