What’s the mission you’ll drive

• Responsible for developing and maintaining world-class user interfaces for our Marketplace.
• Features include search and filters, add to favorites, Shopping Cart, orders management, etc. on mobile and web.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and product owners to create seamless, efficient, high-performing user experiences.

What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership and operate the software that you design, develop, test, and release into production.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and product owners to build great products and experiences for our clients and allies.
• Architect and develop world-class user interfaces that combine usability, maintainability, and performance.
• Develop software daily using our frontend technical stack based on Typescript, Storybook, React, and React Native (must have).
• Review pull requests daily, transferring knowledge with your team.
• Receive mentorship from everyone on the team, from experienced members to those just starting.
• Deploy new features to production daily using our CI/CD pipeline.
• Be on-call occasionally, rotating to distribute knowledge and experience.
• Contribute to our Architecture Decision Records, proposing new techniques, patterns, and tools for our evolving platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time technical work experience as a software engineer.
• Previous experience working with React Native building mobile applications is a must.
• Great communication abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work with a distributed team.
• Good foundations in UX/UI design.
• Strong expertise in building user interfaces using well-structured HTML and CSS code.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tools.
• Aware of web performance optimization techniques.

How the hiring process looks like

• Step 1: People Interview (30 min) - A conversation with a recruiter to get to know you and share more about Addi.
• Step 2: Initial Interview (45-60 min) - In-depth conversation with the engineering manager focusing on skills and problem-solving.
• Step 3: Take Home Challenge (1 week) - Develop a practical case using best practices to showcase your skills.
• Step 4: Deep Dive Interviews (60 min each) - Meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members.
• Step 5: Co-Founder Interview - Final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations and cultural fit.
