[Hiring] Dynamics 365 Solution Architect @NextGen Commerce

Role Description

Hagerty Insurance is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Solution Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Azure. This is a hands-on architecture and delivery role responsible for designing secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions while providing technical leadership and governance. This is not a people-management role.

• Own end-to-end architecture across Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power Apps.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable solution designs covering data, security, integrations, and non-functional requirements.
• Create and maintain solution blueprints, integration patterns, data-flow diagrams, and architecture decision records.
• Guide implementation of Power Automate, Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Dataverse extensibility.
• Monitor Dataverse capacity and storage, establish retention and archival strategies, and forecast capacity needs.
• Define disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, including backup/restore processes and RTO/RPO targets.
• Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines and ALM strategies for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Establish engineering, source-control, versioning, security, and Power Platform governance standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers while leading architecture and code reviews.
• Partner with product, engineering, Scrum, and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment between architecture and delivery.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex design and engineering issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Engineer working with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Power Apps.
• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales and Dataverse.
• Strong experience with Power Automate and Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-driven applications.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 using Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
• Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, including networking, identity, security, monitoring, and core compute/integration services.
• Experience managing Dataverse capacity and storage, data-retention policies, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security models, and ALM.
• Experience with Azure services and integrations, including Azure Functions and Azure Synapse.
• Experience with Git-based version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage, including nights and weekends, as required to support live auction events.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing Azure infrastructure and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience integrating Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on Power BI experience, including paginated reports, semantic models, DAX, row-level security, and performance optimization.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or Power BI, particularly PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect.
