[Hiring] ADMS Power System Engineer @Computer Task Group, Inc

Role Description

CTG is seeking an ADMS Power System Engineer to support our client in distribution network modeling, ADMS integration, and advanced application analysis.

• Conduct power-flow and circuit analysis; resolve network issues.
• Develop and validate ADMS models for substations, underground networks, and DERs.
• Integrate ADMS with SCADA and validate power-flow convergence.
• Support advanced applications: FLISR, VVO, VVC, CVR.
• Maintain GIS/CIM network models and ensure accurate asset topology.
• Automate data validation and model updates using SQL and Python.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Power Engineer (distribution networks & OT).
• ADMS expertise (AspenTech OSI) and SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with CYME, OSI power-flow, and capacity mapping.
• GIS/CIM modeling and asset connectivity.
• Knowledge of IEC 61970/61968, DNP3, ICCP standards.
• Scripting in SQL and Python for data management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degrees a plus), or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Benefits

• The expected base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $115,000.
• Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
• In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
