Role Description
This role involves developing and optimizing systems for Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate closely with design to implement UI for mobile & desktop applications
- Develop performant and modular C++ systems and tools for Unreal Engine
- Work closely with designers and engineers to implement new features and systems
- Optimize existing systems and features for maximum performance
- Implement and integrate third-party SDKs and addons
- Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues
- Adhere to and improve upon existing architecture and code quality standards
- Experience with Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine 4/5
Qualifications
- 8+ years professional C++ experience, with proven expertise in Unreal Engine
- Experience shipping and maintaining C++ projects on desktop platforms
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Ability to self-manage and work independently or collaboratively as needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of other game engines and development tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with shader programming and visual effects (preferred)
- Knowledge of industry-standard software development practices and methodologies (preferred)
