Role Description
Assembly is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer with 7+ years of experience in ReactJS to build scalable, user-friendly web applications and contribute to a strong frontend culture.
- Lead complex frontend feature development
- Define SLOs and performance metrics for frontend
- Improve development tools and build processes
- Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams
- Support and maintain a highly available product
- Encourage a quality-focused engineering culture
Qualifications
- 7+ years of frontend development experience
- Strong knowledge of ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with Storybook and frontend performance optimization
- Proficient in writing automated tests
- Experience building large-scale frontend applications
- Clear communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to lead by example and mentor peers
- Strong problem-solving using metrics and data
Requirements
- 7+ years of frontend development experience
