Role Description
Akuity is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5+ years of experience. This remote role involves:
- Designing and maintaining automated tests
- Improving product quality
- Working with technologies like Golang, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development and testing
- Proficiency in Golang and test automation frameworks
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, S3)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities
Requirements
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks in Golang
- Develop and execute test plans and automated test cases across environments
- Manage test environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Collaborate with development and product teams for test coverage
- Contribute to the improvement of testing infrastructure and tools
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices
