Role Description
This role involves leading large projects and delivering significant features in a code base. Responsibilities include:
- Ability to scope, plan, and lead large projects
- Experience communicating across teams and reaching out to stakeholders
- Ability to understand, clarify, and refine requirements in a rapidly growing business
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical thoughts throughout the organization
- Being the go-to person for solving unknown problems and delivering solutions
- Continuously improving the code base and upholding a high engineering culture
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in software engineering
- At least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- In-depth knowledge of modern software development practices, architectures, and technologies
- Familiarity with both frontend and backend technologies is advantageous
- Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams
- Strong strategic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in project planning, execution, and delivery
- Experience in Agile development environments
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Requirements
- Experience mentoring and developing more junior engineers
