Role Description

We are hiring a Specialist Software Engineer for our Platform Services team in Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for the front-end development for the Platform Services team, which is responsible for providing a range of services to be used across the entire Wellhub.

Lead the front-end development in the Platform Services team.
Design and implement straightforward solutions to complex scenarios.
Work closely with the product team to translate their vision and needs into technical approaches that make sense to the engineering team, and vice-versa.
Serve as a focal point in the communication with other teams and areas of the company.
Serve as a technical reference to the team and gain recognition as such across the company.

Qualifications

Specialist front-end software developer with strong expertise in React and React Native.
Experience with distributed systems and modern system designs, including cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Backend for Frontend (BFFs), Micro Frontends, as well as web and mobile applications.
Background includes designing and developing complex modern mobile and web applications.
Experience in developing RESTful and GraphQL web services, collaborating with front-end teams to create mockups, define payloads, and adhere to HTTP best practices.
Experience in architecting large-scale, multi-tier web applications.
Effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally, in Portuguese and English.
Strong desire for learning and self-development.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.

Requirements

Prior experience in React and React Native are mandatory requirements.
