Role Description
ABC’s internship program is designed to empower students and graduates by helping jump-start their careers and sharpen skills while creating meaningful relationships. This is a 8-week internship beginning in June of 2025.
As a Software Development Intern, you will:
- Design, develop and modify websites, applications and microservices to support business requirements using Agile Methodologies
- Learn to be proficient in resolving technical issues through debugging, research and investigation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related area
- Experience with various programming languages
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Completed sophomore year/2nd year of college
Requirements
- Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada for full-time employment; employer sponsorship is not available
Benefits
- Salary: $30 per hour CAD annually (based on candidate experience, qualifications, and location)
- Potential for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions
