Role Description

This role involves developing and optimizing applications in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on analysis and implementation to improve applications for both Android and iOS platforms, especially through refactoring or rewriting supported by AI tools.

  • Craft client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
  • Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements, validate understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
  • Take ownership of projects, from technical design to a successful launch.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise with at least 2+ years of experience in React Native and TypeScript.
  • Experience in engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience in building frontend/backend applications at scale.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Expertise in state management libraries like Redux (including middleware such as Redux Thunk or Redux Saga) + RTK Toolkit.
  • Hands-on experience with Expo for React Native application development.
  • Strong understanding of local databases (e.g., SQLite, Realm) and offline-first mobile app strategies.
  • Proficiency in working with GraphQL APIs (e.g., Apollo Client or Relay).
