Role Description
This role involves owning the overall application architecture and ensuring high scalability and resilience.
- Work with Engineering teams to ensure optimum solution design for each of the new features and modules developed.
- Work on POCs for new experiments/technological inclusions and collaborate with engineering teams to implement architectural improvements.
- Benchmark different technology options with underlying use cases to make the right architectural decisions.
- Understand and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
- Set well-scoped milestones of projects and deliver them on time with minimal errors and high quality without any guidance.
- Be part of a central team; understand tech requirements and solve them at the organizational level.
- Coordinate and work with cross-team functions.
- Lead projects and execute them with junior engineers, helping, leading, and unblocking cross-functional requirements.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of strong hands-on development experience on web technologies.
- 3+ years of solid experience in designing architecture.
- Strong expertise in Frontend Technologies such as TypeScript, DOM rendering, including manipulation and parsing, UI Libraries and Frameworks.
- Very good understanding of React.
- Experience leading projects with 2–3 engineers.
- Understanding of micro-frontend and module bundlers is a plus.
- Exposure working with high-scale production applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and their applications.
- Strong affinity for producing highly optimum, performant, and production-quality code.
- A technologist at heart and passionate about the latest technological developments.
- Interest in exploring the domain of AI/ML is a plus.
- Good hold on Cloud Architecture, deployment, and optimisation (GCP/AWS) is a plus.
